Mr. Perrilliat is the Founder and Executive Director for Man 2 Man Urban Youth Advocate http://www.man2man-uya.org, a program designed to help strengthen the role of young men of color, as powerful, positive, protective co-parents through recovery, intervention and educational programs. He is a single father of a 13-year-old daughter and a 16-year-old son, in addition to being the proud parent of his 31-year-old daughter.
Stewart has a passion for assisting men and equipping them with the tools to become more responsible, loving fathers, so that they can be more engaged in their children’s lives and better able to interact with the other parent, for the sake of their children’s personal development.
Stewart performs prison ministry, working with the men who are incarcerated at San Quentin State Prison in San Rafael, California.
A native of Oakland, California, he grew up in a community plagued with a number of challenging institutional socio-economic ills. Nevertheless, Stewart escaped the lures of the streets and became a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corp before founding Man 2 Man.
Stewart has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, and Master’s in Theology from San Francisco Theological Seminary where he is currently working on his doctorate in Executive Leadership.
Through his ministry, Stewart helps facilitate change in the lives of men by providing life skills and using the word of God as an instrument for transformation.
He is an author and an ordained minister at Allen Temple Baptist Church, in Oakland.
